The Furever Project

Hi! I’m Lola, a two-year-old labradoodle ,  I’m a  sweet-tempered  girl who  just  loves to be loved! I’m happiest when I’m with my people, soaking up their attention and adoration.  (That includes kids! I’m very gentle with children.)

I absolutely LOVE all my foster dog friends! My favorite thing to do (besides being with my humans) is running around in the backyard with my doggy pals.   I have been introduced to cats and did awesome! If you have a cat, we can do introductions to make sure it’s a good match.

I’m good in a crate , although if you leave the room and I’m not able to see you, I get sad. At my foster mom’s house, I have free roam at night, and I get to sleep in my favorite chair.  (I think it’s my foster mom’s favorite, too!) I’m a smart girl who knows  that the proper place to go potty is outside.  I walk well on a leash, and I’m learning basic manners. No  one has really worked with me on commands  before,  but I ’m a quick learner and eager to please!   I don’t bark much, except when one of my foster siblings does  —  and then we all join in! (Foster mom lets us know when she’s had enough of our “singing,” and we stop.)

One thing I’m not a fan of is getting in and out of cars. I  prefer for my foster mom to pick me up and place me in the car .  Once  I’m in there,  though,  I just settle down and enjoy the ride! I had to go to the vet the other day, and I was a little scared, but my foster mom said  that  I did very well.

I don’t care for toys that much  —  or treats, for that matter. Attention from my humans means the most to me! (That’s totally OK, though, right??) All I want is to find an individual or a family who will spoil me and shower me with love for the rest of my life. Could that be you? If so, please submit an adoption application for me.
